Fleet and Family Support Program- Offers workshops, services, classes, crisis and short-term counseling, assistance with all phases of the deployment cycle and can provide information to command representatives, liaisons, and Ombudsmen. They have trained personnel to assist with sexual assault, suicide prevention and intervention, as well as child and domestic abuse. In order to assist students in transitioning to a new school district, as well as helping students during times of parental deployment, Long Beach School District works with Military Family Life Counselors.
